Beskrivning The process The workpiece which acts as the anode is immersed in an acidic solution where the vessel acts as the cathode. The power source supplies dc current to the acidic solution. The current releases hydrogen at the cathode and oxygen at the surface of the workpiece which is then oxidized to form a porous surface that is then post-processed to increase its durability.
