Rolling process in which the workpiece is fed between two rotating rollers so that the thickness of the workpiece gradually decreases and creates a rod. Beskrivning The process Before processing can begin, the workpiece [1] is heated up so that it’s easier to process. The rolls [2] are molded to form several gap [3] between them, where gap diameter decreases across the axial direction of the roll. The cylindrical workpiece is fed between the rolls at the point where the gap between the rolls is greatest, because this point provides the largest possible diameter.
