Process Commonly used method for grinding where the workpiece is held in a chuck and then rotated against a spinning grinding wheel to achieve the desired dimension and surface finish.

Process Abrasive treatment where a shaft is ground between two rollers until the diameter allows it to pass.

Process Polishing processing where multiple workpieces together with abrasive chips are vibrated so that the surface of the workpieces are smoothed and polished.
